The Launch
Welcome!
I almost posted a video of DJ Jean's "The Launch" but I thought that might be taking it a little too far.... so here we are, the revamped Elements Of Hard Trance website! If you were familiar with the previous design then you know how far its come. It took a lot of work and many long nights! I'm just your average geek who knows barely enough about web development and design to get himself in trouble, but I gave it a valiant effort and here you see the result- hope you enjoy it!
Almost every mix I have ever recorded, going back to 2005, is now online here and available for download- that includes every episode of EOHT! I said almost because there are a couple of sets that I'll never make available for various reasons. Those unfortunate enough to hear my very first mix know what Im talking about- I cant believe I handed that thing out! ....to a lot of people! So it still resurfaces out of left field to haunt me every once in a while, but its still fun in a nostalgic kind of way ; ] For those that immediately thought of vinyl when I said 2005, you get the gold star. You'll find quite a few vinyl sets from me on this site.. hint: see the menu over there >_ >
I invite you to register, so you can join in the conversations and post stuff. It only asks for your name and email- thats it! I promise. Its very easy so please take 27 seconds and do that for me. Then check your email for the verification link to complete the process. Then go exploring! Click around and grab some new tunes for your commute to work or school tomorrow. I'll mostly just be posting my monthly episodes here, but I'll probably post some other random ramblings as well, so stay tuned..
One section of this site that I havent got around to yet, is showcasing mixes and tracks that I like. If youre interested in having your music on this site post here to let me know and we'll work out the details. Any genre is fine but I'm mostly interested in Hard Trance. You can see from the menu on the right side though, that I am a fan of many genres. That menu doesnt even begin to list all the types of music I like. So I'll post just about any genre when showcasing someone's music. I'll try to get that section up and running soon so send your stuff and lets get that going! That would be another reason to register, if you want people to leave feedback about your music you should return the favor and post feedback about their music. Ooooh and I almost forgot- rate the mixes you download by clicking on the stars just above the comment field. We'd all really love that!

So I've been hard at work re-designing Elements Of Hard Trance. Spending all of my time between getting home from work and going to bed, for these past three nights. I'm just about done! It has taken quite a bit of work to take it from this to this. I think one more night of work and she'll be all ready to go!
Great news, every episode of EOHT is now online! I will also be uploading as many of my other sets as I can find, going back to the early days. Not all Hard Trance either. I've recorded several sets of other genres as well. So keep an eye out for those.

Shores Of Kawaihae
I call this mix "Shores of Kawaihae" (Kuh-why-high). Its a three hour trance set that I recorded when I got back from a vacation in Hawaii. Its mostly uplifting stuff, but it covers a few other sub genres as well. It has a lot of peaks and valleys. One minute its uplifting and fluffy and then suddenly it gets dirty. Kawaihae is a small coastal town on the Kona side of the Big Island. I fell in love with it when I went there in December. Its a very peaceful town with a beautiful beach, that was covered in washed up coral and drift wood. If I ever go missing for a long period of time you could probably find me there, watching the waves roll in. I really didnt want to leave. It was a nice little town that I'll never forget.
